AFC Soccer Trials / Attend a Trial Day

Want to be scouted by the network that represents Football clubs Worldwide at the UK’s most successful football trials? Then good news you’re in the right place!

The AFC Soccer Scouting Network  deliver the UK’s most successful football trials events in and around the world, attended by our members from across the country. We deliver football trials in various locations with our home base at UCLan’s world-class facilities in Preston. The AFC football trials day will be supported by Adidas and will have scouts attending connected with all clubs within the Premier League, Championship, League One and Two and Non-League.

The AFC represent Football Scouts Worldwide, and with a member base sitting within its thousands, we have open assessment giving the younger generation the best opportunity at finding a professional or semi-professional football club. Please note places are limited, so if you wish to attend, please book early to avoid missing out on the UK’s best and most successful football trials.

The AFC Network holds trials in and outside the country. We have delivered world-class trials not only in the UK but also overseas. Take a look above to find the closest trials day near you

The more appropriate question to ask is who does not attend AFC soccer Trials. We have a network of thousands of football scouts as members of the AFC. We will have our co-founders and senior scouts at leading football clubs attending. All players highlighted on the day will then be sent to our network.

The AFC Soccer Trials are a full day event from 9am to 4pm. The AM consists of all ages coaching then as we move into the afternoon we start with the trial matches. Snacks and refreshments are available to buy on the day to rehydrate and fill up on that much needed energy boost.

The AFC also operates the UK’s largest independent team of football scouts through the AFC Scouting Network. We represent club directly through to the Premier League. The AFC UK Football Trials will see over ten football scouts attend from this network alone.

The AFC Soccer Trials will be using top of the range video analysis software to give our trialist the option to record their trails day experience. Having your skills on video gives you the edge over the competition and is vital in standing out from the crowd. One of the main reasons the AFC decided to launch our football trials was off the back of hundreds of football CV’s sent to us every month. Even though a football CV is useful information in gauging the level at which you have played at, it was always difficult to validate the skills on paper. The videos that were sent through always grabbed the attention of the team at the PFSA and our football scouts, leading to the inspiration behind providing a video analysis option.

The AFC Trials costs £75, which involves much more than a simple trials day. The AFC Coaches have and currently work for some of the top clubs in Europe. AFC Lead Coach Dean Whitehouse currently works for Manchester United Academy and has overseen the development of some of the UK’s top talent including Marcus Rashford, Scott Mctominay, Angel Gomez and Mason Greenwood to name a few. We also use our match day footage to send to our partner clubs who couldn’t make it on the day, increasing your opportunities beyond the football trials day itself.

Places for the AFC Soccer Trials will be limited so please make sure you book early to avoid disappointment. If you would like to book onto the football trials day, please follow the link below and fill in all the information required. Once you have booked onto the football trials you will be sent a full itinerary within 4 weeks prior to the start date, detailing the whole day’s action, what time to arrive and what to expect.
